Utilizing Technology for a Better Printing Quality

DTG printing (direct-to-garment printing) is also called as digital garment painting, digital apparel printing, or inkjet-to-garment printing. By using this printing technology, we can print full-colour images onto a wide range of garments.
In DTG printing technology, we are using specialised aqueous inkjet technology for high-quality printing results.
The Printing Process
The DTG printing process typically requires that the garment be pretreated with a PTM or pretreatment machine. This creates a stronger bond between garment fibres and the pigmented inks. This also lays down loose fibres to provide a smoother substrate, which chemically reacts with the inks to promote drying and curing.
Since this is a digital process, the print is sharper and has a higher resolution or DPI than traditional printing methods, such as screen printing.
Once the custom garment has been properly pretreated, it is then positioned in a platten system designed to hold the garment in place. The item is then digitally printed according to the design in the printer queue.
